Public Test Server Patch Notes - August 10th, 2017

The following are the up to date patch notes that are currently on the public test server. The public test server will be coming up shortly and all active accounts will be able to test these changes. We appreciate anyone who is willing to test these changes as your feedback will help us determine if things are ready for us to push live. Our goal is to have the patch ready by the end of this week so we can release on the live servers.

General Changes

  • Capital Recall no longer costs gold
  • Decreased the damage variance on all skills/spells from 3-4 damage to 1 damage
  • Nectar of the Gods potions now increase stats by 5 points and can be used until level 75 in each stat
  • Added the barber tab to all general merchants
  • Durability indication bar has been added below all items to show item durability on a scale of red (low) to green (high) - this can be toggled on or off in the GUI options
  • Character Alteration Tokens will be purchasable in the online store. When purchasing this token it will be placed in your deliveries tab (letter icon), and after accepting the purchase it will be placed on the front page of your bank. Double-click to activate
    • NOTE: We will give out test token on the public test server so we can get some more external testing done before releasing this to live

Economy/Crafting

  • Crafting time has been adjusted on all items by 75%
  • Crafting/Gathering Skills that have been added to characters on creation:
    • Alchemy
    • Enchantment
    • Jewelsmithing
    • Mixing
    • Scribing
    • Staff Crafting
    • Tailoring
    • Taming
    • Armorsmithing
    • Bowyer
    • Construction
    • Weaponsmithing
  • Trueforge Armor and Trueforge Weapon have been removed as skills
  • Removed the need for crafting tools (except for taming)
  • Jewelry has now been scaled properly to include arcane protection on all pieces

Harvesting

  • Harvesting time has been reduced to be 1.25 seconds per attempt
  • 8-12 attempts per node (water is unchanged)
  • Base items (Iron Ore, Stone, Timber) per attempt depends on the area in which you harvest:
    • Capital Area: 1-3
    • Lawful Area: 3-5
    • Lawless Area: 4-6
  • Fails have been removed from harvesting
  • Harvesting node refill time has been reduced to be 8-12 minutes
  • Animations have been adjusted to better flow with the new times
  • Only Iron Ore, Timber and Stone use the regional multiplier

General Skills/Progression

  • All schools/spells/skills are automatically added to the character once the appropriate requirements are met
  • School sub skills (Durable/Mana Efficiency/Quicken/Intensify) now level with the school
  • Front loading has been removed and gains across the board have been increased to get users PvP viable more quickly
    • Skill/Spell level will now match their proper status - i.e. 50/100 spell level being 50% efficient in that spel
  • Gains on all magic schools have been increased by 10x
  • The following skills have been removed from the GUI and have been maxed and added to all characters:
    • Acrobatics
    • Diving
    • Endurance
    • Fitness
    • Ignore Pain
    • Pack Mule
    • Perseverance
    • Spotter
    • Tireless
    • Survivalist
    • Toughness
    • Archmage
    • Esoteric
    • Focus
    • Mana Conservation
    • Veteran Mage
  • Reagent Conservation has been removed as a skill
  • Buff other spells (Haste/Ironskin/Fireward/etc) have had their duration reduced to 30 seconds
    • Cast time has been reduced to 0.5 seconds and the range has been increased to be equal to Sacrifice distance (this does not affect Spellchanting hymns)
  • Duration nerfed and cooldown increased for Slow, Delayed Shot and Tongue Rot

Miscellaneous Bug Fixes

  • Auto-Parry will now properly queue after a weapon swing
  • Parry no longer sometimes get stuck in the parrying animation
  • Witches Brew will no longer cause a player to go rogue when healing a red/rogue player
  • Mount swings will no longer go through hit protection
  • Fixed an issue with Saint/Villain titles - players who have -1000 or +1000 alignment will now have the title
    • The titles will now properly be awarded after the 2 week time frame when reaching -1000/+1000
